With a family that includes professional artists, and national political figures, John Chuldenko’s influences are eclectic, and his focus on film has garnered a great deal of attention very quickly.
After a successful career in advertising, John made his narrative debut with the film Fake Stacy, which screened at the Sundance, Tribeca, South by Southwest, CMJ, Taos, Milwaukee, and The Hamptons film festivals. He also wrote and co-directed the extremely popular 2004 Sundance “Puppets” trailers, and the 2003 “Nature Film” trailers. In addition to directing the comedy documentary Thirteen or Bust, John has written and directed television specials, and continues to write and direct award-winning commercials for national clients. His latest projects are the relationship comedy Nesting, now in post-production, and the ensemble feature The Listening Party slated to begin production in 2011.
